En la ayuda no hay nada que diga que sirve para REMARCAR o ENGROSAR el BORDE.
Yo lo que hago a veces es colocarlo dentro de un PANEL y manejar el BORDE y BREVEL de este ultimo.
Aqui debajo va un detalle de las propiedades del componente quiza veas algo interesante (o tal vez no).
