bothy el antivirus Nod32 en algunas ocaciones bloquea el firebird... y también creo que el McCafee... no se que otro antivirus también lo bloquee... prueba por ese lado, si tienes un antivirus detenlo y arranca nuevamente firbird y trata de conectarte.
