Los componentes que estoy utilizando son:

he estado fuera y por eso no he contestado antes.
Probé con tus indicaciones: copié fbclient.dll en c:/windows/system32 e instalé Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86), pero sigue sin funcionar.
